Rich Milgram is the Founder and CEO of Beyond.com, The Career Network focused on helping people grow and succeed professionally. Beyond.com was founded in 1998, when Rich saw a need for a better way for professionals and employers to create targeted connections. Since then, Rich has developed and grown the company into a recognized leader in focused recruitment, with over 70 industry, local and specialty career channels and thousands of niche career communities. Backed by a dedicated and ever-growing team, Rich oversees the daily operations of Beyond.com, including strategic business development and technology initiatives.
He must be doing something right, because Rich has been honored three times as a finalist for Technology CEO of the Year (2007-2009) by the Eastern Technology Council’s Enterprise Awards Program. He was also a finalist for Ernst & Young’s 2008 Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and selected as a “40 Under 40” award recipient by Philadelphia Business Journal in 2007. In addition to these honors Rich has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Fox Business News, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Boston Herald, MSNBC.com, Fox News, CBS, ABC Radio Networks, NPR and many more.
Prior to founding Beyond.com, Rich was a management consultant providing software solutions to several major corporations. He studied engineering at Boston University and lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife, daughters, and a playful puppy named Twizzler.
